Dear cat lovers,
It is with the greatest pleasure that the Malta Feline Guardians Club, MFGC, invites you to the Grand International Cat Show. With this show the club concludes five years of successfully presenting Cat Shows of distinction!
This spectacular event would be held at the Phoenicia Hotel – The Grand Ballroom on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st November. Doors shall open to the public between 2pm and 8pm on Saturday 20th and between 10.30am and 6pm on Sunday 24th November. All members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite cat…a task near impossible from all the feline lovelies on display!! The theme of the show is Christmas and the Committee members would be wearing typical Christmas colours; Red, Green and even touches of Gold to enter into the spirit of Christmas. The exhibitors too are invited to decorate their cages to this theme. With every entrance ticket each person receives a 5 Euro voucher exchangeable at Derek’s Garden Centre. We will be organising a ‘name the kitten’ completion for the children thus turning the show into a true family event. There will be more than one kitten to name and it will be the decision of the judges as to which name suits each kitten. All winners will receive a prize.

Over these two days a grand total of 65 cats would be exhibited. As we have already mentCages decorated in a Christmas theme would serve as the temporary habitat to a wide span of feline breeds which include Persians, Exotics, Sphynx, British Long Hair, Maine Coons, Nebelung, Russian Blue and the much loved Maltese Domestic cat. The club is introducing two new cat breeds, the British Hair and the Chartreux, to be exhibited for the first time in Malta during this show. A pre-Christmas treat for all cat lovers!
