These include Persian, Exotic, Sphynx, British Long Hair, Maine Coons, Nebelung, Burmillas, Bengals, Russian Blue, as well as the much loved Maltese Domestic cat. [/img]The club has invited three WCF all breed judges from South Africa to judge the various categories. Judging will take place over both days. The show will also be holding Specialities for distinct features within each different class of feline. All pure breeds can also participate in the Show Rings. The two winners from each ring, neutered cat, kitten or adult, will then participate for the title of Master.

During this show a Master Title is to be awarded. This is the first time that such an award is being given to a cat participating in a Cat Show in Malta. The Super General Best Cat will be judged from the General Best, voted for during the Saturday show and the General Best, voted for during the Sunday Show. This singular honour is amongst the highest that can be awarded to a cat.

Doors to this forthcoming event shall open to the public between 11am and 8.30pm. The theme of this show is Magical Creatures. All members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite cat and for the best decorated cage. With every entrance ticket each person receives a 5 Euro voucher exchangeable at Derek’s Garden Centre.

This show is kindly sponsored by Micabliss Persians and Almo Natura with supporting sponsors Happy Cat. The committee members would also be present at the show to answer any questions you may have regarding your cat or the club. They would also be taking applications for the next Cat Show and for membership to the club itself. Anyone requiring further information can contact a committee member on 99990022.
