PET EXPO 2018 being held at Montekristo Estates for the first time in Malta on Saturday, 5th and Sunday, 6th May 2018. Two days packed with shows dedicated to animals and pets. For the first time many animals will be on show together under one roof in different halls and areas. The PET EXPO 2018 is organized by the team of Madagascar “Id-Dinja tal-Annimali” programme being aired on TVM and TVM2 respectively. This Expo includes an International Dog Show, National Bird Show and National Rabbit Show. Apart from these mentioned shows there will an exhibition of Exotic Pets, Horses and much more. It is going to be a memorable weekend for all pet and animal lovers alike.
The 74th & 75th International Cat Shows along with TopCat Final Malta are organized by the Malta Feline Guardians Club, the representative club for the World Cat Federation (WCF) on the Maltese Islands.
The International Cat Show will be held at the beautiful venue of il-Palazz at Montekristo Estates.
For all cat lovers, who would like to apply for this memorable event, one can do so, since applications are now open for the MFGC International Cat Show, where the TopCat Award Winning Ceremony will take place. For this event, Cat lovers from different countries will meet for the forthcoming TopCat Final Malta in collaboration with TopCat (International Cats Ranking System), taking place on the 05th & 06th May 2018 at Montekristo Estates.
The most beautiful and captivating cats will be presented during this beauty cat show which is spread on two days. For this special cat show, the MFGC proudly welcomes two WCF all breed judges:
Mr. Andreas Kretschmer-Kraiczek from Germany and
Ms. Alina Ignor from Bulgaria.
For the TopCat Award Ceremony being held once a year for the second time in Malta, for which the cat owners are waiting so eagerly, since their cats will be awarded according to the points obtained during the previous cat shows throughout 2017. The cats to receive the awards are the best pets, breeders and catteries which are participants within the TopCat Rating System. This is also a great opportunity for both local and foreign exhibitors to gain double the points.
The two days of WCF Cat Shows, entails a beauty competition where cats are groomed splendidly by their owners so as to make the cats appear to their full potential when presented in front of the WCF’s All Breed International Judges. In these shows babies, kittens, adults, spayed together with domestic cats participate in their respective categories are presented to Judges. After issuing a report for each cat participating, the judges announce the nominations, where the best cats and kittens will compete in the Best in Show to win the best titles in their respective categories and ultimately the General Best in Show.
Applications are now open, so you are kindly requested to apply directly through www.top-cat.org. Applications will close on Sunday, 15th April 2018. Late entries can apply till the 26th April where an extra fee will be charged.
