50th & 51st International Cat Show – Results

Dear cat lovers,

The 50th and 51st international cat show, was yet another success for the Malta Feline Guardian Club (MFGC) !! Both shows were held at Daniel’s Shopping Complex Hamrun, on Saturday 11th April, with an nice number of people visiting us, asking questions and interacting with the exhibitors and the cats. Both all breed judges, from Russia, Elena Fedorenko and Marina Zhuravleva were impressed with the quality of our cats, and with the way our shows are brought up.

These 2 shows, were made up of a total of 40 cats, consisting of Maltese exhibitors, as well as others from Russia, Italy and Hungary. Several breeds were competing, such as Persians, Exotics, Maine Coons, Ragdoll, Sphynx, Devon Rex and British Short Hair. A big thank you goes out to the management at Daniel’s Shopping complex for allowing us to use the premises, as well as Purina for being the main sponsor for this show. Also something very important to mention, something which made everyone very
happy, was that a stand with homeless cats from different sanctuaries, was set up during the show, and 3 very lucky cats were adopted! A big thank you goes to foster carers Janice Kay Mamo, and Antonella Bartolo.
