The Malta Feline Guardians Club (MFGC), is proud to announce that the MFGC Grand International Cat Show 2015 was a great success!!!! the two days show was held on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December at Daniel’s Shopping centre Hamrun, and the twos days were solid packed with judging, studend judges, WCF Rings, Speciality Rings, Photo-shoots, and many more.
The show was judged by 3 all breed judges, Ms Olga Belyaeva, from Russia, Ms Marina Zhuravleva, also from Russia and Mr Albert-Wojciech Kurkowski, from Poland. The judges had a tough time choosing the best cats in the show, especially considering the several different breeds that were present. Such breeds included, Persians, Exotics, Mainecoon, Devon Rex, sphinx, Abyssinian, Siberian, Bengal, Burmese and Ragdolls. Having said that, the club and committee members, would like to take the opportunity to thank the foreign exhibitors who came to join us in this show. Foreign exhibitors included ones from Russia, Spain, Greece, Italy and Switzerland. It was a great pleasure to have them in our show, and just like every cat lover, they fit in perfectly. Also the club would like to thank its main sponsors- Pet Nutrition LTD, with Princess Cat Products, Josera Malta- with Cat food, and Madagascar (Id-Dinja ta’ l-Annimali), the number one pet education programme on F Living Channel.
The show was split in two days, with two separate winners, one for each day. Also, 8 Speciality rings were split between the 2 days, along with 3 WCF rings on Saturday and another 3 on Sunday. Listed below are the results from both days-
