2014 Grand International Cat Show – Results

Dear Cat Lovers,

A week ago today we were super busy with our 2014 Grand International Cat Show at Daniel’s Shopping Complex, Hamrun. Today we are back with the latest news and results!

First of all we must thank all our Judges; Mr. Walter Baraldi from Italy, Mr. Daniel Germishuys and Mr. Deon Scheepers from South Africa. They did a great job!

Results:
The winners for the show are as follows; WCF World Champion Romeo of Artic Shadows, a Black Golden Tabby Blotched Siberian cat owned by Pamela Salaris won the General Best on Saturday, whilst the WCF European Champion Chrysoberyl Eyes Raissa a Blue Cream Point Himalayan cat owned by Marinelle Pisani, won the General Best for Sunday and Super General Best for both days.The winners for the Master and Double Master Titles were won by Ramazan Cashmir of Glittersand, a Brown Tabby Spotted Bengal cat owned by Natalia Maurria Lopez and the WCF World Champion Romeo of Artic Shadows, the Black Golden Tabby Blotched Siberian cat owned by Pamela Saris.

The title ‘Christmas Kitten’ was won by Emerald Sight Uma Thurman, a Black Sphinx cat owned by Wayne Borda and the ‘Special Forest’ Cat was won by Ramazan Cashmir of Glittersand a Brown Tabby Spotted Bengal cat owned by Natalia Maurria Lopez and Surya Maine Coon Oty, a Red Tabby Blotched with White cat owned by Roberta Micallef.

This was another fabulous show with numerous cat breeds from all over the world such a wide variety of Persians, Exotics, Maine Coons, Sphynx, Ragdolls, Abyssinians, Devon Rex, Siberians, Thai, Bengals and even the Domestic House Cats.

Next Cat Show:

We are happy to announce that our next Cat Show which will take place on Saturday, 7th February 2015. The WCF gave us special permission to organise two shows in one day. The exhibitors will have the chance to get two titles in one day. Cats will be judged by two judges from Italy and Lithuania. On the day the club will announce who will be the Best Cat of the Year 2014.

The MFGC is the only club in Malta who can issue pedigrees direct by the club and not from the breeder. The club is open for registrations of pedigrees.
