The MFGC held a spectacular Notte Bianca International Cat Show

[b]The MFGC held a spectacular Notte Bianca International Cat Show in the Ballroom suite of the Phoenicia Hotel on Saturday 25th September as part of the Notte Bianca Festivities. This was the 22nd and 23rd International Cat Show for the club and also part of its 5th Anniversary celebrations. The show ran from 5pm Saturday, into the early hours of Sunday morning and the visitors to Notte Bianca availed themselves of the complimentary entrance to the event.[/b] Judging took place twice during the show. Signore Vitoria Duchi, a renowned WCF all Breed judge, precided over the judging of the many breeds of feline which graced the show. Judging took place for the different kinds of Specialities and the six different Rings of Neuter, Adult and Kittens. Two cats were awarded the title of General Best from which a Super general best was then chosen. A beautiful Tortie Tabby Blotched Persian, Micabliss Coco Chanel, belonging to Ms Caroline Baldacchino was voted General Best Cat during the first voting session. Another male cat, a Ragdoll Mitted Seal Point of enchanting beauty, Victorious, belonging to Ms Luisa Musumeci was judged General Best Cat during the second voting session. It was however Coco Chanel that won the heart of Signora Duchi and was chosen as the Super General Best Cat of the Notte Bianca show.


Signora Duchi also selected the best cage decorated to the Notte Bianca Theme. This was awarded to Ms Caroline Baldacchino exhibiting a bewitching black and white female Persian, Innocence Del Settimocielo of Micabliss.

[b]The Public voted for their favourite cat, a Tortie and white Persian, Micabliss Estelle, owned by Vincenza Debono. The lucky Winner of the weekend break at the Phoenica Hotel was Ms Rodianne Caligari.

The MFGC would like to inform the public that the next Cat Show would take place on the 20th and 21st November. During this show, the Master title would also be awarded. Applications are now open to anyone who wishes to have his or her cat take part in this prestigious show. Applications can be downloaded from the MFGC website
