Dear Feline Lovers! The applications for the National Golden Cat Show held at The Laguna, SmartCity Malta by MFGC are now closed. On Saturday, 9th December 2017, the show starts at 13:00hrs whilst on Sunday, 10th December 2017 the show starts at 10:00hrs.
More than 70 cats will be on show which ranges from many breeds such as;
Balinese, Bengals, British Shorthairs, Burmese, Devon Rex, Exotics, Himalayans, Maine coons, Persians, Ragdolls, Scottish Folds, Siberians, Siamese, Sphynx, and last but not least household cats which will also be taking part in this beauty contest show.
For these International Cat Show, the MFGC invited WCF all breed judges;
Ms. Marina Zhuravleva and Ms. Elena Ignatova both all breed judges from Russia, who will be judging these Beauty Contest Shows together.
For the first time, the club is holding the ring of the Golden Cat Malta, where the best cat chosen will be participating in an International Cat Show in Belarus. The winner will receive the airline ticket and a ticket to participate in the Cat Show in Belarus, where he or she will get the opportunity to get to know other exhibitors, get the opportunity to learn about other breeds and above all participate in this Cat Show abroad. The winner will receive one year supply of Dry Food.
Taking part in these two show days, will be having baby kittens, kittens, adults, spayed together with domestic cats which are presented to WCF’s All Breed International Judges. Besides the General Best and the Super General Best, there will be WCF Rings; Adult Ring, Neuter Ring, Kitten
Ring on both days and for the first time the Golden Cat Malta. The Fun Shows and Specials taking place are Best Tabby Markings, Best Seal Point, Winter Wonderland (with Costume for both owner and cat), Best Short Hair Cat, Christmas Kitten and Meowy Christmas (with Costume for both owner and cat).
It is an experience to join these felines together with their exhibitors where first-hand experience can be related so that in an educational way one can learn and discover about the way of life of these fantastic felines. Pedigrees and registrations can be done and asked for.
