Upcoming 58th & 59th International Cat Show

Dear cat lovers,

Applications are open for the MFGC 58th & 59th International Cat Show.

The two day show will be held at SmartCity Malta, Between 15.00 pm and 19.30 pm on Saturday 23rd April, and between 10.30 am and 18.00 pm on Sunday 24th April. The show is going to be judged by two All breed judges from Russia- Ms Marina Zhuravleva and Ms. Olga Belyaeva, who are coming all the way from Russia just for this show.

Applications are to be sent by e­mail on [email protected] or via our Facebook page Malta Cat Shows, by no longer than the 12th of April. All participating cats must have a registered pedigree with the club, along with other valid documents. Any other information can be obtained through our websitebwww.maltacatshows.com.

A specific photographer will coming for the show, all the way from Milan- Mr. Alessandro Di Pinto. He is a very experienced photographer, specialising in these kind of events. We are very happy, and honoured to have him for our show. During this show, we will also be welcoming Volunteers from the Cat Sanctuary C.S.A.F. Where they will be setting up stand, in order to sell their merchandise and collect donations for the care of their homeless felines. Also, we will be welcoming foster carer Ms. Janice Kay Mamo, where she will be personally bringing with her some cats which are looking for their forever home. So, whether you would like to adopt a cat, or simply give a donation to the sanctuary, we urge you even more to attend the show.

The show will be judged in the typical WCF style, where one cat will be crowned General Best on Saturday, another cat on Sunday, and both together will compete for Super General Best. WCF Rings for kittens, adults and neutered will also be carried out, along with several fun Speciality Rings, best public opinion and judge’s favourite.
